The Heritage Odyssey is a luxurious 8-day, 7-night rail journey on the award-winning Deccan Odyssey. Starting from Delhi and ending in Mumbai, this journey takes you through India’s grandest cities and heritage sites—from the Taj Mahal in Agra and the royal forts of Rajasthan to the historic caves of Ellora. Day 1: Saturday – Delhi (Departure)
Arrive at the Delhi railway station by late afternoon to board the Deccan Odyssey.
Enjoy a warm welcome and complete check‑in formalities before settling into your cabin. The train departs for Agra in the evening.

Dinner and overnight stay onboard.

Day 2: Sunday – Agra
Welcome to Agra, the city of the Taj.
• 08:30 hrs: Drive to Agra from Tundla station.
• 09:30 hrs: Visit the Taj Mahal, the symbol of eternal love.
• 13:00 hrs: Lunch at a city hotel.
• 14:00 hrs: Explore Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
• 16:30 hrs: Visit Kalakriti to see the art of Pietra Dura inlay work.
• 19:00 hrs: Return to the train.

Day 3: Monday – Sawai Madhopur (Ranthambore National Park)
Arrive at Sawai Madhopur, gateway to Ranthambore National Park.
• 06:30 hrs: Morning jungle safari in Ranthambore, home to tigers and diverse wildlife.
• 11:30 hrs: Return to the train for lunch as the journey continues to Udaipur.
Departure: 11:30 hrs
Afternoon at leisure onboard. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Tuesday – Udaipur
Arrive in Udaipur, the romantic “City of Lakes.”
• 10:00 hrs: Visit City Palace followed by a boat cruise on Lake Pichola.
• 13:30 hrs: Lunch at a city hotel.
• 14:30 hrs: Take a walking tour of Udaipur’s Old City and vibrant bazaar.
• 18:00 hrs: Return to the Deccan Odyssey.

Day 5: Wednesday – Jodhpur
Explore Jodhpur, the majestic “Blue City.”
• 10:00 hrs: Begin sightseeing with Mehrangarh Fort, one of India’s most impressive hill forts.

• 15:00 hrs: Enjoy a tuk‑tuk ride to the Clock Tower market, exploring old lanes and havelis.
• 18:30 hrs: Return to the Deccan Odyssey.

Day 6: Thursday – Jaisalmer
Discover Jaisalmer, the “Golden City” in the heart of the Thar Desert.
• 08:30 hrs: Disembark for a city tour.
• 09:30 hrs: Visit Jaisalmer Fort and Nathmal Ki Haveli.
• 13:30 hrs: Lunch onboard.
• 15:00 hrs: Head out to the Sam Sand Dunes for a magical sunset experience.

Day 7: Friday – Jaipur
Arrive in Jaipur, Rajasthan’s vibrant capital.

Day 8: Saturday – Delhi (Journey Ends)
The Deccan Odyssey arrives in Delhi. After breakfast, check‑out from the train.
